1. Data controller

Chiptune [company name, address] is the controller of the data of users of the Chiptune File manager (owners and team members).

For the data of a File’s end customers, the File owner is the controller; Chiptune acts as a processor on its behalf.

2. Data processed

We process:

• your ChiptunePRO account data transmitted when you sign in (identifier, name, email, company, phone, language);
• the settings, content and images of your files;
• the billing data for your subscriptions (managed by Stripe);
• technical and security logs (IP address, sign-in dates, sensitive actions).

3. Purposes and legal bases

Provision of the service and subscription management (performance of the contract); invoicing and accounting (legal obligation); security, fraud prevention and service improvement (legitimate interest).

4. Recipients

The data is accessible to authorised Chiptune staff and to our processors: hosting [hosting provider], payments (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.), email delivery [email provider]. No data is sold.

5. Retention periods

Account data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for 3 years for marketing or evidential purposes; accounting records for 10 years; a File’s data for 90 days after the end of its subscription.

6. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To exercise them: contact@chiptunepro.com. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

7. Cookies

The manager only uses cookies necessary for signing in and for the operation of the service, and the browser’s local storage for your preferences (theme, language).
